Exciting Projects in the Works!

WE has many exciting projects in the works.

Alliance Bank – Woodway, Texas

This project consists of new 16,100 square foot (enclosed), 2-story bank building to be located on Archway Drive in Woodway, Texas.

Bordeaux Apartment Rebuild – Waco, Texas

The project consists of the reconstruction of an apartment building destroyed in a fire.  The building is a two-story, 8-unit facility, with each apartment unit having 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.  Four of the units will have fireplaces.  The existing slab is anticipated to be reused.

 

Magnolia Press Coffee Shop – Waco, Texas

The project consists of providing structural plans & specifications for renovations of 418 South 8th Street Waco, Texas for the expansion of the Magnolia Silos District.

China Spring Independent School District Tennis Complex – China Spring, Texas

The project consists of a new tennis complex for the China Spring Independent School District including 8 (eight) tennis courts and a concession stand / toilet / locker room building.

 

Pivovar Czech Brewery – Waco, Texas

The Project consists of the renovation of an existing +/- 10,000 s.f. building at 320 South 8th Street in Waco, Texas for the purpose of installing a brew pub with living quarters above.  Engineering work to include structural review of existing structure, minor first floor modifications as required to install new brew pub, foundation & framing to support new second and third floor levels and roof.

More projects in the works!

WE are staying busy at Winton Engineering.  There are so many new projects that have begun & several that we are finishing up.  Here are just a few.

Doris Miller Memorial

The Project consists of a memorial honoring the WWII Veteran, Doris Miller, to be located along the Brazos River in downtown Waco, Texas.  Project Architect is Stan Carroll.  Civil Design is to be provided by The Wallace Group.  James Hoffman is to provide structural design for the stainless steel sculpture wall.  John Erwin Construction is the General Contractor.

Concrete is being poured so that you can start to see real progress being made with the memorial.

Walker Building

The Project consists of renovations to an existing building located at 823 Washington Avenue in Waco, Texas for use as the corporate offices of Walker Partners, along with additional lease space.

New structural framing was in progress.

Valley Mills Vineyard

The Project consists of a new winery building, approximately 12,000 square feet, to be located in the Clifton – Valley Mills, Texas area.

More progress has been made with the winery construction.  Pictures below show of the 2-story facility in progress.

 

Meadowbrook Baptist Church Expansion

The Project consists of the renovation & expansion of Meadowbrook Baptist Church at 1207 North Old Robinson Road in Waco, Texas in conjunction with RBDR, PLLC.

Pretty In Pink Flamingo Boutique and Z’s at the Curry

The Project consists of structural repair, renovations, and installation of elevator to an existing building located at 611 Washington Avenue in Waco, Texas.

Installation of an elevator was structurally designed, new structural supports, and also extension of an elevated deck.

The Project consists of renovation and additions to an existing facility formerly occupied by the Central Texas Youth Rodeo for use as an industrial facility and office located at 1700 Bluebonnet Parkway in McGregor, Texas.

Merry Christmas

From everyone at Winton Engineering, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We wish for you all to have a beautiful holiday season and a new year of peace and happiness.

Winton Engineering will be closed Monday, December 25th in celebration of the Christmas Holiday.  We will also be closed Monday, January 1st in celebration of the New Year.

 

New Update!

Winton Engineering has been busy with many projects.  Here are just a few updates to projects WE are working on.

  • First National Bank – McGregor, Texas

Construction has been completed on the approximately 3,200 square feet of office additions and renovations to the existing First National Bank of McGregor.

  • ARC Companies – Building Renovations – Waco, Texas

The Project consists of renovations to the existing building (former body shop) at 225 S. 12th Street for use as the corporate headquarters for the ARC family of companies just around the corner from the Magnolia Silos.

 

  • Balcones Distilling – Warehouse – Waco, Texas

The Project consists of a new barrel storage warehouse facility, consisting of two (2) metal buildings, approximately 22,000 square feet each to be located in Waco, Texas.

Ground work has been laid for the warehouses & they have put in the foundations.  We will post more pictures as this exciting project takes shape

  • St. Mary’s Church of the Assumption – Grotto – Waco, Texas

The Project consists of the construction of a grotto structure to be located in the lawn area on the east side of the existing church building located on the corner of Washington and 14th Street in Waco, Texas.  Construction is concrete and stone to match the existing church building.

The Grotto has been completed and St. Mary’s just had their blessing of the grotto mass on August 12th with Bishop Joe Vasquez and Rev. Joseph F. Geleney, Jr.

  • Cameron Park Trail Bridge – Waco, Texas

The Project consists of a new pedestrian bridge/culvert to be constructed on the soft trail system at Cameron Park in Waco, Texas.

  • Copperas Cove ISD – Re-Roof – Copperas Cove, Texas

The Project consists of partial re-roofing projects for Copperas Cove ISD at the following campuses:

Crossroads High School – approximately 13,487 square feet, located at 306 East Ave. E, Copperas Cove

Hettie Halstead Elementary – approximately 34,596 square feet, located at 910 North Main Street, Copperas Cove, TX

Mae Stevens Early Learning Academy – approximately 26,353 square feet, located at 302 Manning Drive, Copperas Cove, TX

Fairview – Miss Jewell Elementary – approximately 51,552 square feet, located at 710 South 5th Street, Copperas Cove, TX

Copperas Cove Junior High School – approximately 18,900 square feet, located at 702 Sunny Avenue, Copperas Cove, TX

Copperas Cove High School – approximately 3,000 square feet, located at 400 South 25th Street, Copperas Cove, TX

Lorena Middle School – approximately 23,650 square feet, located at 500 Leopard Lane, Lorena, TX.

Lorena Elementary School – approximately 22,990 square feet, located at 420 North Houston, Lorena, TX

Lorena Primary School – approximately 7,380 square feet, located at 1191 Old Lorena Road, Lorena, TX

Re-roofing services are to be provided by Parson Commercial Roofing, Inc.

  • Valley Mills Vineyard – Clifton/Valley Mills, Texas

The Project consists of a new winery building, approximately 12,000 square feet, to be located in the Clifton – Valley Mills Area.

Update on Current Projects

We are staying busy with many projects at the beginning of 2017.  We are excited with all of the progress.

  • Sykora Family Ford – West, Texas

Construction has been completed  at the Sykora Family Ford Dealership.  Additions and renovations were made in keeping with the Ford Trustmark / Quick Lane branding concept.  The renovations included doubling the size of the existing showroom and creating a new Quick Lane service area, as well as interior renovations and a new wash building.  The exterior renovations included a new brand wall and sign tower.

 

  • First National Bank of McGregor – McGregor, Texas

Construction is moving right along with the approximately 3,200 square feet of office additions and renovations to the existing First National Bank of McGregor.  Hope to have new pictures soon!

  • The National Banks of Central Texas – Copperas Cove, Texas

Construction of the new bank branch office is progressing.  The building is approximately 4,900 square feet in size, with an additional 2,600 square feet (approximate) of covered drive through areas.

  • 300 S. 6th Street – Mary Avenue Market – Waco, Texas

Structural engineering and specifications for the Mary Avenue Market in downtown Waco, Texas just steps away from the Magnolia Market in the Silo District.  See the latest article in the Waco Tribune Herald about the businesses planning to locate inside the Market.

  • Redwood’s, Inc. – Renovations – Waco, Texas

Renovations and upgrades to the existing building supply /  lumber facility including the conversion of a warehouse space into executive office space are progressing nicely.  Building D – the office space has been completed.

  • Mission Waco – Jubilee Market – Waco, Texas

Project consisted of renovations to a non-profit grocery store in a low-income, food desert neighborhood of Waco for Mission Waco.  The project breathed life into an old building that started as a Safeway in the 1930’s and later as convenience stores.  The building is 6,500 square feet.  The store opened November 2016.

The project consists of the Phase B expansion of the Balcones Distilling’s new facility at 225 South 11th Street.  This is an ongoing project.  The expansion includes installation of one wash still, one spirit still, two fermenting tanks, one steam boiler, and associated building alterations as required for the expansion.  Also, additional design projects such as the new Tasting Room / Reception area.

 

 

 

 

Current Projects

Winton Engineering has been very active in many projects this year. Here are a few that we have been currently working on:

  • Sykora Family Ford

This project included additions and renovations to the Sykora Family Ford Dealership in West, Texas in keeping with the Ford Trustmark / Quick Lane branding concept.  The renovations included doubling the size of the existing showroom and creating a new Quick Lane service area, as well as interior renovations and a new wash building.  On the exterior, renovations included a new brand wall and sign tower.
